Cake Making

So far this week and last week I have been very sick. My moms birthday was this week. So me and my dad planned to surprise my mom with a cake. My dad and I thought that I was well enough to make my mom a cake. So my dad told me that while he was taking my mom out for her birthday I could make the cake while they were gone. So I made the cake. When they came back we surprised my mom by singing Happy Birthday and presenting the Birthday Cake I made. I'm very thankful to God that my mom gets another year of life.

Our New Puppy

Me and my family had a good Christmas together last year. We got presents that we love. But one night when me and my two brothers were at a birthday sleep over, my mom called us, telling us to come home. Me and my brothers didn't know why. When we got home our parents told us that they had forgotten to give us a present. So they told us to turn around and close our eyes. Then they said we could turn around and open our eyes, and there in front of us was a brand new, cute, little puppy! I couldn't believe it! My dad had said we couldn't get a puppy! And there I was standing in front of one!
I'll always be thankful to my parents for getting us playful Toby.

Test for Breakfast

This morning I was expecting to have a nice breakfast of pancakes. But there was only one left, and my little brother hadn't got one yet and neither had I. So with a bad attitude I gave it to him. Later I repented of it because I knew it was wrong.

I always know that God is trying to test me in a way and wants to see how I react. And my response should be praising Him and doing it the right way. Because you know that way honors
Him and respects Him.

The True Glory of Christmas

Christmas has always been a fun holiday. I still like to focus on what it's really about...the birth of the One and Only Savior, Jesus Christ. He is also called Emmanuel and Messiah.

He was born as a poor baby with a mother who had never known a man and a father who was still willing to marry her.

What really encourages me is even in the midst of the world's reason for celebrating Christmas (Santa Claus. getting presents, people making too big a deal about charity apart from the gospel), the Lord helps His people prevail with the real meaning of it being the central priority for their lives. This is a reminder that God keeps His promises, like when He promised Adam and Eve that He would send the one seed, meaning a savior, into the world for our sake and for the sins that Adam and Eve had committed. Also, like when God promised King David that He would give Him a descendant from his line that would be the savior.

As for me, a lot of times I get caught on the path of being greedy during Christmas and want to get lots of presents. But, by getting caught on that path, I am missing the point that Christmas is the time of celebrating the baby Savior of the world that also came into the world for my sake. He is the greatest and most powerful human being alive. If you have never heard about this truth, know that he wasn't JUST a human being...He was the Son of God who came from heaven to sacrifice Himself and lowered Himself to a poor baby human (made from the dust of the earth...which He Himself created!). He didn't act like any ordinary human being. He was 100 percent God and 100 percent human flesh. 100 percent God because He was perfect and always had power over nature and sickness. 100 percent human because He could still die like man dies for mankind so that man would no longer die in his sin, but through this suffering death, salvation for man is possible. Those who believe in Christ may die, but they will one day rise from the death when He returns in His magnificent pure robes of righteousness.

One more thing...the only way for you to avoid the wrong path for Christmas is to repent and believe. Repenting of your sins because Jesus Christ died for your sakes because He loved you - even after all the sins you committed. Believing in Him and His righteousness to cover you. By dying for your sins, His blood washes you white as snow.

If you have never read anything like this, ask the Lord to help you understand it and to believe it.

So now do you know the true meaning of Christmas?

I am nine years old and I do. So maybe you can.

This is what my heart believes and wanted to share.

If you want to read more about this you can read from the beginning of Matthew.

Being A Missionary

My Dad and Mom both want to be missionaries, I do to, because people need the gospel all around the world, and like Jim Elliot teaching that we need more missionaries, we actually do need more missionaries for God in this world. I'd love to be a missionary in Italy, Spain or Mexico, but what are focus should really be on is that we are really there to preach the word of God, that is the only importance being a missionary. There are a lot of poor people in this world that need the Gospel. My Dad has been to a lot of countries in this world, and has seen and has
experienced what it is like to be a missionary. He has seen many poor people, even some who are Christians! A lot of times I feel scared of being a missionary because I think I might die or something, but then I realize that I'll go to heaven if I do. We are here to serve the Lord, that is are purpose here, and I will live for that purpose only.

My Focus On The Lord

I've had a lot of fun during the past summer, and a lot of times I get distracted, and I don't keep my focus on God. I've noticed I do it too much, and that I need to stop. My focus should always be on the Lord. I've finished two books about two missionaries' lives, one just yesterday, and they both really encouraged me on it. I've been praying about it and I believe God will help me.

The first missionary I read about was William Carey, and the second one was Jim Elliot, as I said they both really encouraged me.

I should also remember why I'm even here which is to share the gospel with those who have never heard.

The Titles Of My Worship Songs

1.I will go anywhere you want me to go.

2.Victory

3.I have your love

4.I will declare your word

5.Charity for God

6.I do not deserve you

7.There is a way

8.Heaven

9.We are sorry

10.Thank you Lord

I write these songs for the worship of God,and I will sing them for god. I think the Lord deserves
more worship than he gets. We have his love, which we do not deserve. I love the songs that I sing because I'm giving worship to God. My dream one day is to be a worship singer and pianist.
